Frequently Asked Questions
Booking a class is very simple! Simply click on “Cookery classes” and use the red box to search for upcoming classes. You'll find details of classes for the next four weeks and a new day of classes will appear on the website every day!
And don't forget to keep your eye on the website for promotional classes and offers in connection with our speciality food and drinks partners.
Payment will be taken just before or after the class takes place.
When you book online you are only booking a place on your course, no payment will be taken at this point. If you have a gift voucher (Gourmet Gift Voucher, Red Letter Days, Buy A Gift etc), simply select this payment option and enter your voucher code when booking your class then present your voucher to us on arrival at L'atelier. Without your voucher we will have to take a cash or credit card payment.
If a class is full please feel free to sign up to the waiting list! Should a place open up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm a place through our website.
Log in to “My account” where you will be able to access all your bookings. If you wish to modify or amend a booking, select the booking you wish to alter and then click on “Modify this booking.” You can also increase or decrease the number of places booked in this way.
You will then receive an email confirming your modifications.
Log in to “Your Account” where you will be able to access all your bookings. To cancel a booking, select the booking and then click on “Cancel this booking.”
You will then receive an email confirming your cancellation.
Your recipes will have been sent out by email in the 48hrs following your class. If you have not received this email, please check that it has not gone in to your spam folder. You can also access your class recipes by logging in to “My Account” – each new recipe will be added to your account after the class has taken place.
If your class recipes are not in your account, please send us an email containing your booking reference and the date and time of your class – we will then send your recipes to you as soon as we can!
Red Letter Days
Your Red Letter Days voucher entitles you to one of the following classes:
Introductory Cookery Course = One place on a 60 minute cooking class. Introductory Cookery Course for Two = Two places on a 60 minute cooking class.Classic Contemporary Cookery Course = One place on a 90 minute cooking class. Classic Contemporary Cookery Course for Two = Two places on a 90 minute cooking class. Deluxe Contemporary Cookery Course = One place on an 'All About...' (two hour cookery class). Deluxe Contemporary Cookery Course for Two = Two places on an 'All About...' (two hour cookery class). To book a class using your voucher, simply choose your class through “Book a class” and then select 'Voucher' for the payment method and enter your voucher number. This will reserve you a place and you simply have to present the voucher to us when you arrive for your class.
Buy A Gift
Your Buy A Gift voucher entitles you to one of the following classes:
Introductory Cookery Course for Two: Two places on a 'Cook, Eat & Run' class. Traditional Cookery Course for One: One place on an 'All About...' class. To book a class using your voucher, simply choose your class through “Book a class” and then select 'Voucher' for the payment method and enter your voucher number. This will reserve you a place and you simply have to present the voucher to us when you arrive for your class.
If your voucher has expired you should contact the supplier directly.
L'atelier des Chefs is the first cookery school to offer classes suitable for everyone! Classes range from 30 minute to a maximum of 4 hours and run Monday to Saturday. We offer classes for both adults are children. We aim to cater for all tastes: from everyday dishes to the most sophisticated dinner menu; from starter to dessert and dishes from all over the world. The choice is yours – just take a look at the dishes on our website and book your class!
We'll provide absolutely everything you need for you class, from the ingredients to the apron! During your class itself, you will prepare the recipe(s) you chose on www.atelierdeschefs.co.uk. The chef will explain each and every step of the recipe to you and will give you hints and tips throughout the class to ensure that you end up with a delicious dish you can be proud of! At the end of your class, you can either take your dish(es) home with you or you can relax and enjoy them in our stunning dining area. Your class recipes will be sent out to you in the 48 hours following your class so that you can create them again at home!
L'atelier des Chefs Kids Can Cook Classes are suitable for children aged between 7 and 16 years. Your child can attend alone if you wish or you are more than welcome to join them and take a class together. Please take a look at our website to see the next Kids Can Cook Classes.
We can also organise bespoke children's parties – simply fill in our online enquiry form and we will get back to you with details of the kind of event we can offer!
Yes! Send your friends and loved ones a Gourmet Gift Voucher! Simply choose the length of time you want to offer them and they can choose the class that appeals to them!

The easiest way to buy a Gift Card is online through our website. Simply click on “Gift Cards” in the top menu and follow the step by step instructions for online payment. Alternatively, pop in to see us in Wigmore Street or St Paul's and pick up a card directly from us.
Once you have placed your Gift Card order, you will receive a confirmation email containing all your order details and your reference number. If you have not received this email, please check you spam folder.
Your order will be despatched in the 72 hours following the receipt of this email. Gift Cards are sent via Royal Mail's Recorded Signed For service. If it has not arrived within 7 days of despatch, please contact us directly and we will provide you with your tracking number.
Gift Cards entitle the recipient to take part in cookery classes ranging from 30 minute Cook, Eat & Run classes up to our 4 hour Masterclasses. Give your friends and loved ones the freedom to choose the classes and dishes that really appeal to them – all you have to do is pick an amount of time! Take a look at the website to get an idea of the classes offered all year round at L'atelier des Chefs.
Prices start from £15 for our 30 minute 'Cook, Eat & Run' class. Choose to purchase a specific amount of time or simply choose an amount of credit that the recipient can spend as they so desire!
Gift Cards are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

To amend any of your personal details, log in to “Your Account” and from there you can edit your email address, password etc.
If you wish to unsubscribe from the Newsletter, simply log in to your account, go to “My Account” and “My Profile" > Register for... From here you can subscribe or unsubscribe from the Newsletter and other alerts in just a couple of clicks!

Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please check your Gift Card envelope to find out the value of your card.
Once you’ve chosen your class simply book your places through our website. You will then need to bring your Gift Card with you to your class and we will redeem it upon arrival.
Your Gift Card is valid in-store and for classes taking place at L’atelier des Chefs London only.
Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. This date is non-extendable so we strongly advise that you book your class well in advance of the expiry date to ensure you have a wide selection of classes and recipes to choose from!
Yes! If your gift card is worth one hour or more you can use it one more than one occasion.
Yes! If your gift card is worth one hour or more you can use it to cover the cost of a class for two people. For example, if you have a gift card worth two hours, you can use it for two places on a one hour class.
Unfortunately our online registration is currently under
development. Not to worry though you can still use your card by simply
booking directly online and presenting it when you come to the class.
