Frequently Asked Questions

Payment will be taken just before or after the class takes place.

When you book online you are only booking a place on your course, no payment will be taken at this point. If you have a gift voucher (Gourmet Gift Voucher, Red Letter Days, Buy A Gift etc), simply select this payment option and enter your voucher code when booking your class then present your voucher to us on arrival at L'atelier. Without your voucher we will have to take a cash or credit card payment.

If a class is full please feel free to sign up to the waiting list! Should a place open up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm a place through our website.

Log in to “My account” where you will be able to access all your bookings. If you wish to modify or amend a booking, select the booking you wish to alter and then click on “Modify this booking.” You can also increase or decrease the number of places booked in this way.

You will then receive an email confirming your modifications.

Log in to “Your Account” where you will be able to access all your bookings. To cancel a booking, select the booking and then click on “Cancel this booking.”

You will then receive an email confirming your cancellation.

Your recipes will have been sent out by email in the 48hrs following your class. If you have not received this email, please check that it has not gone in to your spam folder. You can also access your class recipes by logging in to “My Account” – each new recipe will be added to your account after the class has taken place.

If your class recipes are not in your account, please send us an email containing your booking reference and the date and time of your class – we will then send your recipes to you as soon as we can!

Red Letter Days

Your Red Letter Days voucher entitles you to one of the following classes:

Introductory Cookery Course = One place on a '60” Flat' (one hour/2 course cookery class). Introductory Cookery Course for Two = Two places on a '60” Flat' (one hour/2 course cookery class).Classic Contemporary Cookery Course = One place on a 'Le Menu' (one and a half hour/3 course cookery class). Classic Contemporary Cookery Course for Two = Two places on a 'Le Menu' (one and a half hour/3 course cookery class). Deluxe Contemporary Cookery Course = One place on an 'All About...' (two hour cookery class). Deluxe Contemporary Cookery Course for Two = Two places on an 'All About...' (two hour cookery class). To book a class using your voucher, simply choose your class through “Book a class” and then select 'Voucher' for the payment method and enter your voucher number. This will reserve you a place and you simply have to present the voucher to us when you arrive for your class.

Buy A Gift

Your Buy A Gift voucher entitles you to one of the following classes:

Introductory Cookery Course for Two: Two places on a 'Cook, Eat & Run' class. Traditional Cookery Course for One: One place on an 'All About...' class. To book a class using your voucher, simply choose your class through “Book a class” and then select 'Voucher' for the payment method and enter your voucher number. This will reserve you a place and you simply have to present the voucher to us when you arrive for your class.

If your voucher has expired you should contact the supplier directly.

L'atelier des Chefs is the first cookery school to offer classes suitable for everyone! Classes range from 30 minute to a maximum of 4 hours and run Monday to Saturday. We offer classes for both adults are children. We aim to cater for all tastes: from everyday dishes to the most sophisticated dinner menu; from starter to dessert and dishes from all over the world. The choice is yours – just take a look at the dishes on our website and book your class!

We'll provide absolutely everything you need for you class, from the ingredients to the apron! During your class itself, you will prepare the recipe(s) you chose on www.atelierdeschefs.co.uk. The chef will explain each and every step of the recipe to you and will give you hints and tips throughout the class to ensure that you end up with a delicious dish you can be proud of! At the end of your class, you can either take your dish(es) home with you or you can relax and enjoy them in our stunning dining area. Your class recipes will be sent out to you in the 48 hours following your class so that you can create them again at home!
