Ingredients cinnamon biscuits for coffee

Unsalted butter : 110 gram(s) Whole Egg(s) : 1 Whole
Plain flour : 275 gram(s) Caster sugar : 100 gram(s)
Ground cinnamon : 1/2 Tablespoon(s) Semi-skimmed milk : 30 Millilitres
Fine salt : 1 Pinch(es)


Recipe : Cinnamon biscuits for coffee

Place the butter, flour and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Rub the ingredients together using your fingertips. Add the sugar, cinnamon and the egg. Pour in the milk and mix until you have a malleable dough then place in the fridge and chill for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Spread the dough out to a 5mm thickness then use a pastry cutter to make individual biscuits and place on a baking tray. Transfer to the oven and bake for around 8 minutes.

Allow to cool before serving with coffee.
