A well-prepared steak is one of life’s great pleasures! It offers almost infinite variety; you can choose your favourite cut, pick a sauce AND dictate exactly how it’s cooked. Unfortunately though, steaks ordered in restaurants often arrive quite differently to what we envisaged. To get your meat exactly right, it’s often better to cook it yourself.
Some say a steak pun is a rare medium well done. We’re not going to go there (jokes are a little outside out forte!), but however you like your steak, you can be sure that our Chefs can teach you to get it right each time.
Our Steak classes vary in length, but you will always be taught how to cook a selected cut of beef to perfection as well as a classic sauce such as a peppercorn sauce or aioli. Our Chef will give you guidance on how to recognise different levels of doneness; and will of course ensure that you are able to cook up your steak just the way you like it.
With our longer classes, you will also have the opportunity to learn a delectable dessert. These vary seasonally but can include brownies, cheesecakes and more! These classes are the perfect way to catch up with friends as well as giving your cooking skills a level up.
After your class, you can relax and enjoy your meal in comfort. At the end of the class you'll have the opportunity to take a sit in our convivial dining area to enjoy your meal with a drink from our bar. Not only will your steak be cooked exactly how you like it, you’ll have the immense satisfaction of knowing that you cooked it yourself.
