Check if the pineapple is ripe by pulling out a leaf - if it comes out easily then the pineapple is ready to wat. Slice off the bottom of the fruit and stand the pineapple up. Hold the leaves and then use a sawing motion to follow the shape of the fruit and remove the skin. Cut v-shaped channels into the fruit to remove the eyes. Slice off the top of the pineapple and the fruit is ready to be used.
