Verrine of baked plums with orange mascarpone Recipe

  • Plum(s) : 6 whole
  • Mascarpone : 75 g
  • Orange(s) : 0.5 whole
  • Red port : 30 ml
  • Dark soft brown sugar : 30 g
  • Flaked almonds : 10 g
Method
  • ETAPE 1

    Halve the plums and remove the stones. Sit in a baking dish or roasting tray, ensuring that the plums don't touch one another.

  • ETAPE 2

    Mix the mascarpone cheese with the zest of the half orange. Place small spoons of the cheese on top of each plum and then our over the port. Sprinkle the sugar and almonds over the top.

  • ETAPE 3

    Place in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes until the plums are softened and golden on top. Serve warm.
