Preheat the oven to 170'C.
Line a baking dish with baking parchment.
Melt the butter and chocolate together over a pan of simmering water. Allow to cool a little.
Whisk together the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.
Mix the cooled, melted chocolate into the eggs and sugar and then fold in the sifted flour.
Pour into the baking dish and then place in the oven and cook for 25 minutes - this should give gooey brownies.
Cut the brownie into small squares, rounds or slivers and serve dusted with icing sugar.
