Pao de queijo (cheesy bread rolls) Recipe

A recipe inspired by South American Pao de queijo - bread rolls made with tapioca flour and cheese.

Pour people
  • Semi-skimmed milk : 50 ml
  • Tapioca flour : 250 g
  • Water : 50 ml
  • Groundnut oil : 50 ml
  • Fine salt : 6 pinch(es)
  • Whole egg(s) : 2 whole
  • Comté : 200 g


  • ETAPE 1

    Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  • ETAPE 2

    Place the water, milk, oil and the salt in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Add the tapioca and mix well with a spoon. Allow to cool.
    Add the eggs and mix well before adding the grated cheese.

  • ETAPE 3

    Roll the dough into balls and then place on a greased baking tray. Transfer to the oven and bake for 7 minutes at 180°C.
