Caramelised figs with honey, pistachios and greek yogurt Recipe

Ingredients for people

  • Fig(s) : 6 whole
  • Chopped pistachio(s) : 30 g
  • Honey : 6 tbsp
  • Greek yogurt : 100 g
  • Unsalted butter : 50 g
  • Ground cinnamon : 5 g
Method

    Remove the stalks from the figs and then each fig into six wedges.

    Heat a frying pan until hot and add a knob of butter.
    Add the figs to the foaming butter and colour on one side. Drizzle in the honey and turn the figs over.
    Add a pinch of cinnamon and the chopped pistachios and spoon the liquid over the figs. Remove the figs from the pan before they overcook and serve immediately with a dollop of thick Greek yogurt.

«When cooking figs make sure they are not too ripevor they will overcook very quickly.»
