Ingredients
Pour people
  • Egg white(s) : 150 g
  • Icing sugar : 175 g
  • Unsalted butter : 150 g
  • Plain flour : 50 g
  • Ground almonds : 80 g
  • Matcha tea : 5 g
  • Fleur de sel : 1 pinch(es)
  • Toasted sesame seeds : 5 g
Method
  • ETAPE 1

    Preheat the oven to 180'C.

    Mix together the egg whites, icing sugar, flour, ground almonds and the powdered green tea.

    Melt the butter until it is deep nut colour - make sure not to burn it! Mix in to the dry ingredients.

    Butter your financier moulds then fill with the financier batter. Sprinkle the fleur de sel and the sesame seeds over the top and then bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

    Allow to cool before removing from the moulds to serve.
