Soft, melt-in-the-mouth financiers marbled with chocolate sprinkles and served with chocolate sauce.
Preheat the oven to 180 C.
Use a whisk to mix together the ground almonds, flour, icing sugar and the egg whites.
Heat the butter over a low heat until it has melted and taken on a deep nut colour. Mix into the ground almond mixture and then allow to cool before adding the chocolate sprinkles.
Pour the mixture into silicone mini-savarin moulds and then bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
For the sauce: break the chocolate into pieces. Bring the milk to the boil and then pour over the chocolate pieces, mix well.
Remove the financiers from the oven and fill the centre with the home made chocolate sauce.
