Mini brownies with morello cherries Recipe

Ingredients for people

  • Unsalted butter : 10 g
  • Caster sugar : 150 g
  • Dark chocolate : 100 g
  • Unsalted butter : 125 g
  • Plain flour : 90 g
  • Morello cherries in syrup : 30 g
  • Whole egg(s) : 3 whole

    Preheat the oven to 200'C.

    Place the butter and the chocolate in a bowl and melt over a pan of simmering water.

    Beat the eggs with the sugar until you have a slightly fluffy mixture.

    Add the chocolate and the flour to the eggs and sugar. Mix gently and then set aside to cool.

    Butter the molds, sprinkle with a little caster sugar and then fill to the 3/4 mark with the brownie mix.

    Place a morello cherry in the centre of each brownie and push it gently down in to the mixture.

    Bake in the oven for 6 to 7 minutes.
