Wok-fried chicken with sesame oil and broccoli Recipe

  • Chicken breast(s) (150g) - skinless : 6 whole
  • Groundnut oil : 30 ml
  • White sesame seeds : 30 g
  • Sesame oil : 30 ml
  • Chive(s) : 0.25 bunch
  • Red onion(s) : 2 whole
  • Broccoli : 600 g
  • Soy sauce : 40 ml
  • Freshly ground black pepper : 6 Turn
  • Fine salt : 6 pinch(es)
  • Coarse salt : 25 g


  • ETAPE 1

    Cut the chicken breasts into 2cm pieces. Season with salt, pepper and sesame seeds.

  • ETAPE 2

    Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil. Cut the broccoli into florets and blanch for 2 minutes in the boiling water then drain.

  • ETAPE 3

    Peel and finely dice the red onion. Finely chop the chives.

  • ETAPE 4

    Heat a wok to hot and add the groundnut oil. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook for 2 minutes. Add the broccoli and cook for a further 2 minutes before adding the chopped red onion. Deglaze the pan with soy sauce and add the sesame oil.

  • ETAPE 5

    Serve immediately, sprinkling the chopped chives over the dish.

«Try marinating the chicken in the soy sauce and sesame oil for one hour. Drain well before cooking.»
