The LdC - our signature cocktail Recipe

Especially designed and created by our resident mixologist Jack, our signature cocktail is made with pear vodka, a home made basil sugar syrup and strawberry puree topped with freshly cracked black pepper.

Pour people
  • Pear vodka : 210 ml
  • Strawberry puree : 150 ml
  • Basil sugar syrup : 30 ml
  • Basil : 6 leaf
  • Lemon(s) : 2 whole
  • For the garnish(es)
  • Basil : 6 leaf
  • Freshly ground black pepper : 6 Turn


  • ETAPE 1

    Cut each lemon into 6 wedges.

  • ETAPE 2

    Place two wedges in the bottom of each boston glass or tin and muddle to obtain the juice. Add 35ml of pear vodka, 25ml strawberry puree, 5ml basil sugar syrup and a basil leaf to each boston tin. Fill with ice and hard shake until the outside of the tin has frosted over.

  • ETAPE 3

    Pass the cocktail through a fine strainer into a martini glass. Spank a small basil leaf and float on the surface of the drink. Finish with a pinch of cracked black pepper.

Chef's tip

«Add as much ice as you can to the boston shaker. Try making your own pear vodka by adding slices of fresh pear to plain vodka. Leave to infuse and then enjoy!»
