Drain the tin of chick peas in a sieve and rinse under cold running water.
Puree the garlic. Zest and juice the lemon.
Add the chick peas to a blender along with the garlic puree, tahini with half of the lemon juice and zest. Blend while slowly adding adding the olive oil. Finish to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Serve as a dip with some fresh flatbreads.
