Ingredients
Pour people
  • Plain flour : 125 g
  • Corn meal : 125 g
  • Caster sugar : 140 g
  • Fine salt : 5 g
  • Baking powder : 3 Tsp
  • Whole egg(s) : 1 whole
  • Semi-skimmed milk : 235 ml
  • Sunflower oil : 80 ml
  • To line the mould(s)
  • Olive oil : 1 Tbsp
Method
  • ETAPE 1

    Preheat the oven to 200 *

  • ETAPE 2

    Grease a 23cm round cake tin or small frying pan suitable to go in the oven,with the tablespoon of olive oil.

  • ETAPE 3

    In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt and baking powder.
    Stir in egg, milk and vegetable oil until well combined.

  • ETAPE 4

    Pour mixture into prepared tin.

  • ETAPE 5

    Bake in the preheated oven until a skewer inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes.
