Muffins with grapes and marzipan Recipe

Light but rich muffins with marzipan pieces and grape halves - an original and delicious combination!

Pour people
  • Plain flour : 250 g
  • Baking powder sachet(s) : 2 whole
  • Caster sugar : 75 g
  • Whole egg(s) : 3 whole
  • Unsalted butter : 125 g
  • Semi-skimmed milk : 10 ml
  • White almond paste : 125 g
  • Red grape(s) : 200 g


  • ETAPE 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  • ETAPE 2

    Melt the butter in a frying pan. Cut the grapes in half and remove the seeds. Cut the marzipan into small cubes.

  • ETAPE 3

    Mix the flour, baking powder and sugar together then incorporate the eggs 1 at a time. Add the melted butter, the milk and the marzipan cubes.
    Pour the mixture into your lined muffin molds. Press a few grape halves in to each muffin. Transfer to the oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes.

    Allow to cool slightly before turning out of the molds.
